A Wife of Noble Character, a Dedication to Coleen Sabin.

Our Purpose in Life as women should be exactly as the bible describes in Proverbs 31:10-31
A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies. Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value. She brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life. She selects wool and flax and works with eager hands. She is like the merchant ships, bringing her food from afar. She gets up while it is still dark; she provides food for her family and portions for her servant girls. She considers a field and buys it; out of her earnings she plants a vineyard. She sets about her work vigorously; her arms are strong for her tasks. She sees that her trading is profitable, and her lamp does not go out at night. In her hand she holds distaff and grasps the spindle with her fingers. She opens her arms to the poor and extends her hands to the needy. When it snows, she has no fear for her household; for all of them are clothed in scarlet. She makes bed coverings for her bed;she is clothed in fine linen and purple. Her husband is respected at the city gate, where he takes his seat among the elders of the land. She makes linen garments and sells them, and supplies the merchants with sashes. She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue. She watches over her affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: "Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all." Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised. Give her the reward she has earned, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.

Coleen Sabin was married to Dale for 37 yrs, the mother of 9 children and grandmother to 11. A woman of faith and belief in YaHWeh. She studied the bible and practiced it in her daily life. She encouraged other young women to do the same. An accomplished seamstress with a business of offering other women the joy of modest dressing. Homeschooling her children and encouraging them to live accordingly to the words and commands of God in his Word.

Coleen Linda Feltman (Sabin) was born on April 6th, 1951 and passing into Glory Land on January 17, 2008.

Coleen Sabin authored an article about "What causes Children" explaining in her words the reasons why woman today are not finding or rejoicing in their rolls as mothers and wives.

You will find her article in the following post, " Don't you KNOW what causes CHILDREN"?

One last thought about the example of a Christian Woman:
In 1 Peter 3 :4-6 "Instead, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God's sight. For this is the way the holy women of the past who put their hope in god used to make themselves beautiful. They were submissive to their own husbands, like Sarah, who obeyed Abraham and called him her master. You are her daughters if you do what is right and do not give way to fear."

I know some women will argue that their is no power in submissiveness. In many ways they find it offensive and shameful if a woman is submissive to a man or her husband. As if it is demeaning or belittling of the woman to take such a lowly position. In fact they could not be closer to the truth. Their is much power and strength in obeying God's word for OUR lives. If a woman taps into the truth of God's word she will find the JOY of being a daughter of the KING and a daughter of Sarah.
I for one, would rather be known as a woman of FAITH and who followed God's word of being submissive to my husband and HEAD. As in 1 Corinthians 1:1-16; (paraphrasing) Believing that the head of man is Christ and the head of a woman is man and the head of Christ is God. Following that order if a woman prays or prophesies w/ her head uncovered she dishonors her head. So for that reason she should have a sign of authority on her head. I am not ashamed to wear such authority or to encourage other woman to do the same. After all, it should be our desire to challenge one another to live a righteous and holy life by faith and obedience in Christ our LORD.
As in 2 John 1:6; "And this is love: that we walk in obedience to his commands. As you have heard from the beginning, his command is that you walk in love.
After all Jesus said in Mark 8: 38 "If anyone is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when he comes in his Father's glory with the holy angels.
With everything spoken and written, it is all in love for the edification of my fellow sisters in Christ. In all loving kindness a daughter of Sarah, Crystal Smith a thankful and submissive wife to my dear husband Phil. Who is 39 yrs old today! Happy Birthday my dear husband and leader of faith for our family. I praise the Lord for such a gift to my life and a joy to be married to a humble servant of Christ.

DOUBLE WOW! Either someone is impersonating my sister's or she is really off!!! Since the spelling of the name is off, (I would guess impersonating) I only know of one other person that spelled it that way... Keep up the good work Coleen (my mother) would be rejoicing to know that you are trying your best to be in submission to your husband, and also in doing so with any type of covering on your head! Sorry that some have to sooth their own guilty conscience by such comments.

Okay.. This is Leishia Sabin, First and foremost I would like to apoligize that you have been under the delussion that I wrote the 2ed comment, Obveously someone has been impersonating ME. Which they SHOULD know better, Crystal you ARE doing the right thing! Keep up the GOOD work! Anyway... My sister called me up and wondered if I had seen this site, Well of course not, And just to set the record straight this is the VERY first time I have ever commented on any blog, Yes I know of just 1 person that spells my name that way, and she happens to be my brother's Mother-in-law ...WOW... and even more than that Esther would NEVER say that, I would like to say that there is NO woman on this earth that could ever take the place of my Mom, she was the most Godly woman I have ever known, I think that if I could be just 1/2 the woman she was that would be a real accomplishment.

Thank you Crystal for the dedication you have given to my Mom, she would so want you to continue following Christ, and being submissive to your husband.

It takes a REAL woman to do the RIGHT thing. Unlike these feminest women who think that if you are not bossing the men in your life around then you are a doormat, Well I say that IF you cannot be submissive to your earthly husband than just how can you be submissive to your HEAVENLY BRIDEGROOM, who wants you to be TOTALLY submissive to HIM, and if we are following HIM with all our heart than we will want to be submissive to HIM, and to those men in our lives who HE has placed as our authourity.
For all the real women out there keep up the good work!

Quite a Freudian slip there. Amazing how sometime the truth comes out even when one is trying so hard to deny it and themselves.

First of all, God almost certainly doesn't exist. Second, if he did, and this is what he wanted from you, why on earth would you follow him? The only source we have for information about God (supposedly) is his own autobiography. There is no reason to expect it to be truthful.
